The United States of America is a federal constitutional republic comprising 50 states and a federal district. It is the world’s 3rd largest country area- and population wise. As a result of large scale immigrations from many countries, it is the most ethnically diverse and multicultural nation. It also has the world’s largest national economy.

The U.S. is one of the largest importers and the 3rd largest exporting country in the world. Its main trading partners are Canada, China, Mexico, Japan and Germany. One of the leading export commodities are vehicles. The U.S. is also the world’s 3rd largest producer of oil as well as the largest importer. The world’s best known brand names also come from the U.S.: Coca Cola and McDonalds.

The four largest airlines in the world are American and of the world’s thirty busiest airports, 16 of them are in the U.S., including the world’s busiest being Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
